I was inspired to create BowDawg Ties after seeing a dog wearing a bow tie that just didn’t seem to fit its collar and personality! With inspiration from my rescue pup, Valentino, many sewing lessons, and perusing fabrics in the garment district, I taught myself how to sew and create high quality ties with a snap closure backing that won’t get caught in fur and stays securely in one place.
Realizing that no two dogs are a like the birth of BowDawg Ties was born! BDT’s are fun and will allow your dog to strut their individual personality. Every BowDawg bow-tie is lovingly fashioned by hand and there will be slight variations in style. The elastic snap closure securely fits around most collars. If the width of your dog’s collar is more than one inch please email us at BowDawgTies@gmail.com so we can affix the proper snap backing. Also contact us for custom orders or with any questions. If we can find the fabric, we will make it!
While BowDawg Ties are awesome, we highly recommend that your four-legged bestie be supervised while wearing a bow in case he decides he wants a snack! Ties are not edible!
